Job summary

Sun and Sage ABA in Española, NM is seeking a compassionate Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy for children. This part-time role offers paid training, mentorship, and a pathway to full-time growth while supporting families in the community.

You will work under supervision to implement treatment plans, collect progress data, and collaborate with BCBAs and caregivers in a warm, inclusive setting.

Qualifications

• RBT certification is preferred but not required.
• ABA or childcare experience is welcome, with paid training to certification.
• Background check is required before employment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Comfortable with weekday mornings/afternoons.

Responsibilities

• Implement personalized ABA treatment plans with 1:1 client sessions.
• Use evidence-based strategies to improve communication and daily living skills.
• Collect and maintain data to track progress.
• Ensure safe, engaging sessions and HIPAA-compliant documentation.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers, and teammates.

Compensation: $20.00 – $27.00 per hour (based on experience and certification status)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible hours between 8 AM and 3 PM

We’re looking for a compassionate, dependable, and enthusiastic Behavior Technician to work in Española, NM! You'll provide 1:1 support to children with autism using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), guided by a supervising BCBA.

Whether you're an experienced RBT or have a background in ABA or childcare and are ready to get certified—we'll support you every step of the way with paid training, mentorship, and a caring team environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Work directly with clients to implement personalized ABA treatment plans
• Use positive, evidence-based strategies to support communication and daily living skills
• Collect data to track progress and celebrate success
• Provide engaging and safe sessions in a supportive environment
• Collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers, and teammates
• Maintain documentation in compliance with HIPAA

• Certified RBTs highly encouraged to apply
• ABA or childcare experience also welcomed (training pay available while becoming certified)
