Job summary

Positive Behavior Steps is hiring a Behavior Technician to deliver 1:1 in-home or clinic-based support for children and adolescents. The role emphasizes play-based learning to build communication, behavior, and life skills under BCBA guidance.

No ABA experience is required as comprehensive paid training is provided, with ongoing weekly coaching, monthly trainings, and clear career growth paths within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to travel within a 15–20 mile radius.
• Spanish-speaking preferred.
• ABA or RBT experience is a plus, but not required.
• Reliable, patient and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 in-home or clinic-based support to children/adolescents.
• Use play-based activities to teach communication, behavior, and life skills.
• Follow behavior plans designed by a BCBA.
• Track progress and document session notes.
• Communicate with supervisors and scheduling team.
