Job summary

Kaleidoscope ABA Therapy Services in Newark, DE seeks compassionate Behavior Therapists to join our dedicated team and deliver 1:1 ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.

You will implement personalized treatment plans to improve behavioral, daily living, social and community skills while collaborating with a supportive team; full-time and part-time roles available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a HS Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year of experience with children that have disabilities.
• 6 Months of ABA Experience (preferred).
• Must be able to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy under supervision of a BCBA.
• Implement treatment plans addressing behavioral, daily living, social and community skills.
• Assist with safety and supervision as needed, including floor-time when required.
• Collaborate with team to tailor interventions to each child.

Position Description

We are seeking compassionate Autism Support Specialists, BTs, and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide direct treatment and ABA therapy. Under the supervision of a BCBA clinician, the BT is responsible for working 1:1 with children implementing specific treatment plans designed to address the child's needs for behavioral management, daily living, social, and community skills. With training, the R/BT will perform appropriate management to ensure the child's safety.

• Center-based opportunities throughout NJ/PA/DE, MA, VA, CT and AZ!

Required Experience and Education

• Minimum of a HS Diploma or GED
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience with children that have disabilities.
• - 6 Months of ABA Experience (preferred).
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Pennsylvania Applications: Must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
• It is an essential function to be able to meet the rigorous demands of the job, which may include long periods of standing, sitting, following, pushing/pulling equipment, and/or lifting.
• Candidates must possess the ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and spend time on their feet as well as an ability to lift children, up to 50 lbs, on occasion.

Note: This role requires the ability to spend a significant amount of time crouching, crawling, and engaging with children on the floor or standing for long periods.
