Job summary

Kaleidoscope ABA Therapy Services is seeking compassionate Behavior Therapists, BTs, and RBTs to provide direct ABA treatment for children. Under BCBA supervision, implement plans addressing behavior, daily living and social skills in a 1:1 setting.

Full-time and part-time opportunities are available across multiple locations. The role requires empathy, teamwork and the ability to engage with children on the floor or standing as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience with children that have disabilities.
• Six months of ABA experience (preferred).
• Pennsylvania applications: must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
• Role requires physical activity including standing, lifting up to 50 lbs when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy under supervision of a BCBA clinician.
• Implement treatment plans addressing behavioral management, daily living, social and community skills.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support safety and engagement of children.

Position Description

We are seeking compassionate Autism Support Specialists, BTs, and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide direct treatment and ABA therapy. Under the supervision of a BCBA clinician, the BT is responsible for working 1:1 with children implementing specific treatment plans designed to address the child's needs for behavioral management, daily living, social, and community skills. With training, the R/BT will perform appropriate management to ensure the child's safety.

Required Experience And Education

• Minimum of a HS Diploma or GED
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience with children that have disabilities.
• 6 Months of ABA Experience (preferred).
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Pennsylvania Applications: Must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
• It is an essential function to be able to meet the rigorous demands of the job, which may include long periods of standing, sitting, following, pushing/pulling equipment, and/or lifting.
• Candidates must possess the ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and spend time on their feet as well as an ability to lift children, up to 50 lbs, on occasion.
• Note: This role requires the ability to spend a significant amount of time crouching, crawling, and engaging with children on the floor or standing for long periods.
