Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking a school-based Behavior Technician in the McMinnville, OR area for the 2026-2027 school year. You will provide 1:1 and small group support to students with behavior challenges in a collaborative setting.

We offer a 8:00–4:30 schedule, W-2 employment with liability insurance, health benefits, a 401(k) with company match, licensure/CEU reimbursements, mileage between sites, and mentorship from seasoned school-based professionals.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent or 60 credits completed.
• Paraprofessional Credential (ParaPro/ParaEducator) required or preferred.
• Experience in school setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group behavioral support for students.
• Support students with intense behavior challenges including aggression.
• Work Monday–Friday, 8:00–4:30, per school calendar.

What We're Looking For

• Associates Degree or equivalent, or 2 years post secondary and at least 60 completed credits OR
• Paraprofessional Credential (such as passing score on ParaPro or ParaEducator Assessments )
• Previous experience working in the school setting and/or supporting behavior preferred
