Job summary

Ampersand Therapy LLC is seeking a Behavior Technician for the McMinnville, OR area to support elementary and middle school students with challenging behaviors.

The role involves 1:1 and small group intervention within a school setting, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday during the 2026-2027 school year, with pay between $23 and $25 per hour. Benefits include health, 401(k), licensure reimbursement, mileage, and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or 2 years post secondary with at least 60 completed credits.
• Paraprofessional Credential such as ParaPro or ParaEducator Assessments.
• Previous experience working in a school setting and/or supporting behavior is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with behavior challenges, including handling aggression and elopement.
• Support classroom teachers and therapists in implementing behavior plans and data collection.
• Coordinate with school staff to modify activities and ensure student safety and engagement.
