Job summary

Positive Behavior Steps seeks a Behavior Technician to deliver 1:1 in-home or clinic-based support to children and adolescents. Training is paid, with a clear path to becoming an RBT, and a supportive team focused on meaningful progress.

You will learn to use play-based methods, follow BCBA plans, track progress, and communicate with the scheduling team. Afternoon shifts, Monday–Friday, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• No ABA experience required; training provided.
• Willing to travel within 15–20 miles.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 in-home or clinic-based support to children/adolescents.
• Use play-based activities to teach communication, behavior, and life skills.
• Follow behavior plans designed by a BCBA.

• Reliable transportation + valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to travel within a 15-20 mile radius.

(ABA or RBT experience is a plus, but not required!).

Schedule Requirements:

• Afternoon availability (after school hours).
• At least 4 days per week.
• Occasional weekend availability may be requested.
