Job summary

Total Education Solutions, Inc is hiring a Behavior Technician to support clients in home settings across South Los Angeles. This part-time role involves direct ABA-based support with opportunities to grow into full-time as schools resume.

No prior experience is required; you will receive paid training and mentorship to ensure success from day one. You’ll work with families, teachers, and specialists to foster communication, social skills, and independence while gaining real-world experience.

Pay Range: $19.50-$25.13/hr*

*Based on experience, education, certifications, and second language use (50%+ of the time)

What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct care to clients
• Implement behavior strategies using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• Support skill development in communication, socialization, play, motor skills, self-help, and school readiness
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and specialists to create positive outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation of progress and plans

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Access to a mobile phone (for email) and basic internet (if working offsite)
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance with minimum 25/50k liability coverage
• Ability to travel to multiple locations
• Must pass a DOJ/FBI background check
• Current TB Test
• CPR/First Aid Certification

Work Environment & Physical Qualifications

• Support is provided in a variety of settings such as homes, schools, or clinics
• Ability to work in settings with moderate to loud noise levels
• Comfort working with individuals who may display a wide range of behaviors and needs
• Could include the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling
