Job summary

Total Education Solutions (TES) is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to support clients in home settings in Pasadena and surrounding areas. The role offers paid training, mentorship, and a flexible 10-20 hour schedule with room to grow as schools return.

No prior experience is required. You will learn ABA techniques, work with families and educators, and help clients build communication and daily living skills while documenting progress and outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Access to a mobile phone and basic internet if offsite.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance minimum 25/50k liability.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations.
• Background check (DOJ/FBI) required.

We’re hiring part-time positions (10-20 hours per week) in the San Gabriel Valley with the ability to grow to full-time once schools are back in session. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference while gaining hands-on, real-world experience supporting clients in their home settings. Part-Time to Start (10 - 20 hours/week)

Pay Range: $19.50 - $25.13/hr*

*Based on experience, education, certifications, and second language use (50%+ of the time)

What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct care to clients

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Access to a mobile phone (for email) and basic internet (if working offsite)
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance with minimum 25/50k liability coverage
• Ability to travel to multiple locations
• Must pass a DOJ/FBI background check
• Current TB Test
• CPR/First Aid Certification

Work Environment & Physical Qualifications

• Support is provided in a variety of settings such as homes, schools, or clinics
• Ability to work in settings with moderate to loud noise levels
• Comfort working with individuals who may display a wide range of behaviors and needs
• Could include the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling
