Job summary

Total Education Solutions (TES) in South Los Angeles is hiring part-time Behavior Technicians to provide direct care and implement ABA strategies in clients' homes and community settings. This role offers 10-20 hours weekly with potential to grow to full-time when schools resume, and pay ranges from $19.50 to $25.13 per hour based on experience and language skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Must pass DOJ/FBI background check.
• Must have TB test and CPR/First Aid certification.
• Access to a mobile phone and basic internet for offsite work.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and auto insurance (25/50k).

What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct care to clients
• Implement behavior strategies using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• Support skill development in communication, socialization, play, motor skills, self-help, and school readiness
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and specialists to create positive outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation of progress and plans

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Access to a mobile phone (for email) and basic internet (if working offsite)
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance with minimum 25/50k liability coverage
• Ability to travel to multiple locations
• Must pass a DOJ/FBI background check
• Current TB Test
• CPR/First Aid Certification

Work Environment & Physical Qualifications

• Support is provided in a variety of settings such as homes, schools, or clinics
• Ability to work in settings with moderate to loud noise levels
• Comfort working with individuals who may display a wide range of behaviors and needs
• Could include the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling
