Job summary

Hello ABA in Germantown, MD is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to work after school on a part-time schedule. The role offers flexible daytime/evening hours with a pay range of $25–$32 per hour, plus performance bonuses and a sign-on bonus.

You will support children with autism at home, teach daily living and social skills using evidence-based ABA techniques, and collect data to guide individualized programs. Collaboration with BCBA and families is central to the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• RBT certification preferred.
• Able to attend 40-hour RBT training and pass the exam within 90 days of hire.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and car insurance are essential.
• Great communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with autism in home settings.
• Teach daily living and social skills using ABA techniques.
• Collect and organize data during sessions for personalized plans.
• Collaborate in team meetings, trainings, and supervision to grow skills.
• Work closely with supervising BCBA to implement customized behavior plans.
• Communicate with RBTs, BCBAs, families, and team members to support every child’s needs.

What You’ll Do as a Behavior Technician:

• Support individuals with autism in home around LOCATION.

• Teach essential daily living skills and social skills using evidence-based ABA techniques.

• Collect and organize data during sessions, contributing to personalized client programs.

• Collaborate in team meetings, trainings, and supervision to continually grow your skills.

• Work closely with your supervising BCBA to implement customized behavior plans that make a real impact.

• Communicate proactively with RBTs, BCBAs, families, and team members to ensure every child's needs are supported.

Who You Are:

• Passionate, compassionate, and excited to work with children with autism.

• Prior experience in childcare, especially with children with disabilities, is a plus.

• Available to attend our 40-hour RBT training course and pass the RBT exam within 90 days of hire.

• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and car insurance are essential.
