Behavior Interventions, Inc. (BII) is hiring Behavior Technicians to work in New Jersey locations, with a 4-week paid training to become an RBT. Part-time opportunities are available, with pay starting at $20.81 per hour (clinical) or $26.53 with RBT credential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred for some cases.
  • Satisfactory results of required background checks (federal/state/provider).
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification required.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Crisis intervention certification maintained annually.
  • DOE background checks and provider-specific checks may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Provides behavioral intervention based on the science of behavior analysis to support skill development and/or reduction of problematic behaviors.
  • Establishes and maintains therapeutic relationships with client, caregiver and family through rapport building.
  • Collects accurate data per program specifications.
  • Maintains administrative and non-clinical functions to ensure continued success of families served and the team.
  • Attends assigned trainings, supervision meetings and other meetings as required.
  • Operates as a mandated reporter and reports suspected abuse or neglect.
