Job summary

ABA A Step At A Time Care in Salisbury, MD is seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) or RBT to deliver 1:1 ABA therapy across home, school, community, or center settings. You will implement plans created by a BCBA and track client progress with data.

The role emphasizes collaboration with families, ongoing professional development, and a commitment to ethical practice. Full- or part-time options are available with supportive supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass background check and travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, in-community, or in-center.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for clients.
• Adhere to BACB's code of ethics for Registered Behavior Technicians.

Behavior Technician (BT) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, in-community, or in-center.

Behavior Technician (BT) Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay Range: $12 - $25/hour
• Full- or Part-Time Positions: Monday through Friday and weekends (optional and flexible)
• Location: Salisbury, MD

Behavior Technician (BT) Skills and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
