Job summary

Hello ABA in Pasadena is seeking a dedicated ABA Behavior Technician to support children with autism in home settings. You’ll use evidence-based ABA techniques to teach daily living and social skills, while collecting data and collaborating with a BCBA.

This part-time, in-person role offers flexible after-school hours, a supportive team culture, opportunities for RBT training and tuition reimbursement, and a path to growth within a family-like practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• RBT certification preferred.
• Willingness to attend 40-hour RBT training and pass exam within 90 days of hire.

What You’ll Do as a ABA Behavior Technician:

• Support individuals with autism in home around Pasadena.

• Teach essential daily living skills and social skills using evidence-based ABA techniques.

• Collect and organize data during sessions, contributing to personalized client programs.

• Collaborate in team meetings, trainings, and supervision to continually grow your skills.

• Work closely with your supervising BCBA to implement customized behavior plans that make a real impact.

• Communicate proactively with RBTs, BCBAs, families, and team members to ensure every child’s needs are supported.

Who You Are:

• Passionate, compassionate, and excited to work with children with autism.

• Prior experience in childcare, especially with children with disabilities, is a plus.

• Available to attend our 40-hour RBT training course and pass the RBT exam within 90 days of hire.

• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and car insurance are essential.

• A great communicator with a collaborative attitude.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
