Job summary

Hello ABA in Monrovia is hiring a Behavior Technician to support children with autism in home-based settings. You will implement ABA techniques, collect data, and collaborate with BCBAs to tailor plans.

This part-time, after-school role offers $25–$32 per hour with bonuses and a sign-on bonus, plus paid trainings and education support.

Ideal for someone with childcare experience, a high school diploma, reliable transportation, and a willingness to complete the 40-hour RBT training within 90 days.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Attend our 40-hour RBT training course and pass the RBT exam within 90 days of hire.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with autism in home around Monrovia.
• Teach essential daily living skills and social skills using evidence-based ABA techniques.
• Collect and organize data during sessions to inform client programs.
• Collaborate in team meetings, trainings and supervision to grow skills.
• Work closely with supervising BCBA to implement customized behavior plans.
• Communicate proactively with RBTs, BCBAs, families and team members.

• Prior experience in childcare, especially with children with disabilities, is a plus.
• Available to attend our 40-hour RBT training course and pass the RBT exam within 90 days of hire.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and car insurance are essential.
• A great communicator with a collaborative attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
