Job summary

Duet, a not-for-profit organization serving adults with developmental disabilities in the Omaha area, seeks a Program Development Specialist to author Behavior Support and Safety Plans based on FBAs and train staff to implement them.

You will work with clinicians to develop curricula and ensure plans meet SMART criteria, while collaborating across teams to support program development and execution. The role requires travel to rural locations and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2 years of community-based service experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in human service field preferred.
• Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite and all Agency required systems.
• Must be able to travel independently to rural locations.
• Must possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license, pass a driving record check and have a car with state-required insurance for transporting persons in service.

Responsibilities

• Author all Behavior Support and Safety Plans and take a lead in training.
• Develop and adapt curriculum for employee training that align with current best practices.
• Partner with Direct Support Professionals and Managers to correctly complete assessments and programs based on those assessments.
• Assuring all goals meet SMART criteria.
• Audit data being collected quarterly to ensure monthly goal reviews are being done in a timely manner and with accuracy.
• Provider summary to Clinical Coordinator or designee.
• Accept all other responsibilities as assigned.
