Job summary

Duet in Omaha metro area seeks a Program Development Specialist to collaborate with clinicians completing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and to create behavior support and safety plans. You will train staff to implement these plans and help develop curricula aligned with best practices.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and travel to rural locations. A driver’s license and agency-system experience are essential obstacles to success in this position.

Qualifications

• 2 years of community-based service experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field preferred.
• Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite and agency-required systems.
• Must work effectively as a team member and be able to travel independently to rural locations.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and insurance for transporting persons in service.

Responsibilities

• Author all Behavior Support and Safety Plans and take a lead in training.
• Develop and adapt curriculum for employee training aligned with best practices.
• Be flexible with schedule and commit time to complete duties.
• Actively participate in program development and execution.
• Partner with Direct Support Professionals and Managers to complete assessments and programs.
• Ensure goals meet SMART criteria and audit data monthly.
• Provide summaries to Clinical Coordinator or designee.
• Accept other responsibilities as assigned.
