Job summary

Caregiver is seeking a Behavior Support Provider in Texas to join our team. The role involves writing, implementing, and monitoring behavior support plans with HHSC guidelines, and ensuring accurate documentation for billing.

The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field and a valid Texas license (LPC, LPC-Associate, or LCSW) with supervision for LPC-Associates. Local travel is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, or related field from an accredited university
• Must hold a clear license to practice in Texas as an LPC, LPC-Associate, or LCSW (Supervision available for LPC-Associates)
• Licensed clinical social worker under Texas Occupations Codes Chapter 501
• Licensed professional counselor under Texas Occupations Codes Chapter 501

Responsibilities

• Write, implement and monitor behavior support plans aligned with HHSC guidelines
• Provide ongoing staff education on behavioral supports and functional behavior analysis
• Perform direct observations and behavioral assessments
• Collaborate with treatment teams and directors to ensure proper program implementation
• Prepare behavioral assessments, reports, and monitoring documents
• Track service hours for billing and maintain compliant notes

Education

Master’s degree in Psychology or Social Work or related field
