Caregiver, a Texas-based provider of services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), seeks a Behavior Support Provider to join our team. The role involves direct service delivery, staff training, and ensuring compliance with HHSC guidelines.

The position emphasizes writing and monitoring behavior support plans, counseling, and data collection, with local travel required and a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field and Texas license to practice (LPC/LPC-A/BCBA/LCSW).
• Experience with IDD population is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write, implement and monitor behavior support plans meeting HHSC guidelines and codes.
• Provide counseling and skills training for individuals with IDD.
• Educate staff on behavioral supports and functional behavioral assessment methods.
• Perform direct observations for behavioral assessment and program development.
• Ensure thorough notes for billable and non-billable services following guidelines.
• Track contact hours and support billing requirements.
• Respond to critical incidents with post-intervention guidance.
