Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a behavior aide to support K-12 students with special needs. You will work with a teacher to deliver individualized services, monitor behavior, track progress, and reinforce learning through the SESI model.

The role offers paid training, credentialing support, and opportunities for professional growth within a national network, with smaller class sizes and a focus on student success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Work with a diverse group of students with varying developmental needs.
• Lead small group instruction and implement SESI's academic rotational model.
• Partner with the teacher to provide customized behavioral and academic support and conduct assessments.
• Reinforce learning by assigning tasks, using data to select materials, and providing one-on-one tutorials.
• Assist the teacher with large group activities, grading, and accommodations as needed.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and safety procedures as required.
• Support daily plans and track student growth toward goals.
• Supervise students and ensure safety during transitions between locations.
• Collaborate with teachers, assistants, and related service providers to address needs.
