Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a Behavior Support Specialist to work with students who have intensive behavioral needs in school settings.

You will collaborate with teachers and staff to implement individualized behavior plans using SESI’s CASE PBIS framework. Responsibilities include de-escalation, safety procedures, data recording, and communicating with parents to support progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor's degree highly preferred.
• Experience implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs.
• Emotional consistency and resilience to handle stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Provide consistent monitoring and support throughout the school site.
• Support the creation and implementation of behavior support plans.
• Record, track, and document behavioral incidents and progress toward goals.
• Utilize PBIS strategies and school incentive programs.
