Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a Behavior Support Specialist to work with small groups of students in in-district classrooms and standalone schools. You will monitor student behavior, track progress, and communicate with parents while delivering individualized services.

You will collaborate with teachers to implement SESI’s PBIS framework and behavior supports, ensuring a safe, supportive learning environment and data-driven progress monitoring.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• College experience or bachelor's degree highly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license for student transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead small group instruction and support students.
• Collaborate with the teacher to provide behavior and academic support.
• Assess student progress and document growth.
• Assist with large group activities and accommodations.
• Implement de-escalation techniques to maintain safety.
