Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) seeks a full-time Behavior Support Staff Personnel to support students on buses and in schools. The role offers a competitive hourly rate and a benefits package including health, dental, vision insurance and IRA matching.

Responsibilities include assisting students with disabilities during boarding/exiting, ensuring safety in transit, providing mobility support, and maintaining a positive, orderly bus environment.

Formación

• Strong communication skills. Patient, self-motivated and able to problem solve.
• Ability to connect with children and their parents.

Responsabilidades

• Assist students with disabilities boarding and exiting the bus safely.
• Ensure students are seated and secured during transit.
• Provide mobility support, including assisting with wheelchairs and mobility aids.
• Monitor student behavior to maintain a safe bus environment.
• Communicate with the bus driver and school staff about issues during transportation.
• Attend to students' personal care needs when necessary.
• Follow safety protocols and emergency procedures on the bus.
• Assist with other school tasks as needed.
