Job summary

Oparc is seeking a Behavior Support Professional (BSP) in Walnut, CA, to provide person-centered support and transportation for adults with disabilities in community, on-site, and work settings. The BSP ensures accurate documentation, confidentiality, and personal care that preserves dignity and independence, while implementing individualized behavioral plans to promote positive outcomes.

The role involves active programming, participant engagement, and safe transport of multiple participants

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid California driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Two years driving experience.
• Pass DOJ background check, fingerprint clearance, TB test, pre-employment physical, and required immunizations.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support and transportation to adults with disabilities.
• Drive participants in program-related activities using Oparc vehicles.
• Maintain documentation and confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Ensure safety and dignity during on-site and community activities.
• Follow program plans and behavioral support strategies.
• Assist with daily living activities and health monitoring.
