Job summary

GoodLife Innovations in Lawrence, KS is seeking a full-time Behavior Services & Training Support Specialist to strengthen quality, compliance, and day-to-day operations of the Behavior Services and Training Departments.

The role blends administrative coordination, quality assurance, and employee training with opportunities to impact the lives of individuals with disabilities. Training and certification opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

  • Experience in human services, healthcare, education, training, or administrative support.
  • Experience working with individuals with IDD preferred.
  • Comfortable using electronic databases and documentation systems.
  • Ability to deliver engaging training to small and medium groups.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to work in-office and travel between regional GoodLife locations.

Responsibilities

  • Review behavior service documentation for accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.
  • Support Human Rights Committee documentation, tracking, meetings, and compliance.
  • Enter and update information in agency systems and generate reports.
  • Assist leadership with tracking clinical quality indicators and meeting materials.
  • Coordinate weekly new hire training and assist with training logistics.
  • Prepare training materials, classroom resources, and supplies.
  • Monitor employee training requirements and identify missing, incomplete, or expired training.
  • Support specialized training, refresher courses, and certification programs.
  • Become certified to teach CPR/First Aid and Safety Care and facilitate these courses as needed.

Behavior Services & Training Support Specialist

Full-Time, Salary $40,000-$45,000

GoodLife Innovations serves individuals with disabilities and aging adults across Kansas. We are seeking a Behavior Services & Training Support Specialist to help strengthen the quality, compliance, and day-to-day operations of our Behavior Services and Training Departments.

What You'll Do:

  • Behavior Services Support
    • Review behavior service documentation for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
    • Support Human Rights Committee (HRC) documentation, tracking, meetings, and compliance.
    • Enter and update information in agency systems and generate reports.
    • Assist leadership with tracking clinical quality indicators and preparing meeting materials.
  • Training Support
    • Coordinate weekly new hire training and assist with training logistics.

Some Qualifications:
  • Experience in human services, healthcare, education, training, or administrative support preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) preferred.
  • Comfortable learning electronic databases and documentation systems.
  • Ability to provide effective and engaging training for small and medium-sized groups.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to physically perform the functions of the job required.
  • Ability to work in-office and travel between regional GoodLife locations as needed.
