Job summary

Danville Services is seeking Direct Support Staff to help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live fulfilling lives in their own homes. You will provide compassionate care, support daily activities, and build empowering relationships so every voice is heard and joy is shared.

Ideal candidates are empathetic, patient, and enthusiastic about learning. No prior experience is required as training is provided; familiarity with ADLs, safety, and teamwork will help you succeed in

Qualifications

  • Strong caregiving skills with a focus on supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with individuals and their families
  • Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide care
  • Experience in group home settings or long-term care is a plus, but not required
  • Basic knowledge of first aid and safety protocols is beneficial
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a caregiving environment
  • No Prior Experience Necessary We Will Train You!
