Job summary

United Counseling Service (UCS) in Bennington, Vermont is seeking a dedicated Behavior Interventionist to support Head Start and Early Head Start students. You will work with classrooms, families, and staff to implement developmentally appropriate behavioral and social-emotional support strategies.

Qualifications

• RBT certification with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Degree requirements as listed: Associate or Bachelor in ECE with relevant experience.
• Strong collaboration with classroom staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and group behavioral and social-emotional supports.
• Collect observations and behavioral data to inform plans.
• Develop and monitor behavior support strategies with the team.
• Offer direct instruction in emotional regulation and social skills.
• Coach staff on proactive behavior-support strategies.
• Support implementation of strategies to increase inclusion.
• Monitor progress and adjust next steps with the team.
