Job summary

Citizens of the World Los Angeles is seeking a Behavior Intervention Implementation Associate to join our charter school team in Valley Village, CA. You will support students with disabilities across classroom, outdoor play, and individualized settings, contributing to a positive school culture through social-emotional learning.

Responsibilities include assisting Lead Teacher with progress data, tailoring instruction, supervising play areas, and implementing behavior intervention plans.

Qualifications

• AA degree or two years of college with 48 semester units.
• Experience working with students with disabilities, including autism.
• Training in implementing Behavior Intervention techniques as well as ABA-based methods.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse populations including English learners.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher with ongoing student progress and achievement assessment and report data.
• Assist with tailoring instruction to meet individual student needs.
• Support classroom, outdoor play, and social-emotional learning efforts.
• Supervise playground, safety rules, and organize play activities.
• Monitor behavior and implement approved behavior management techniques.
• May provide adaptive support and assist with interventions for students with special needs.
