Job summary

Two Rivers Supervisory Union is seeking two Behavior Interventionists to support the Autism Program at Ludlow Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves using ABA techniques and behavior management to support students with behavioral challenges, including data collection and collaboration with instructional staff.

The positions require engagement in ABA training, one-to-one instruction, and adapting strategies to each student's IEP.

Qualifications

  • Prior ABA experience preferred.
  • Willing to advance training.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in applied behavior analysis training in-services.
  • Administer one-to-one applied behavioral analysis to students in a school and/or home setting.
  • Confers with instructional personnel and provides input regarding student progress.
  • Collect data and record anecdotal student progress notes, maintain and organize program notebooks, and implement program modifications.
  • Administer drills, review data with supervisor and report concerns.
  • Assist instructional personnel with the development of learning materials and reinforcement strategies according to the student's IEP.
  • Monitor students, classroom and/or playground activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Two Rivers Supervisory Union has openings for two Behavior Interventionists to support the Autism Program at Ludlow Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. The job of Behavior Interventionist provides support, monitoring, and training using behavior management techniques, intervention strategies, coping skills and problem solving for students with behavioral challenges.

Essential Job Functions
  • Participate in applied behavior analysis training in-services.
  • Administer one-to-one applied behavioral analysis to students in a school and/or home setting.
  • Confers with instructional personnel and provides input regarding student progress.
  • Collect data and record anecdotal student progress notes, maintain and organize program notebooks, and implement program modifications.
  • Administer drills, review data with supervisor and report concerns.
  • Assist instructional personnel with the development of learning materials and reinforcement strategies according to the student's individual Education Plan (IEP).
  • Monitor students, classroom and/or playground activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: $20 to $24 Per Hour

Job Requirements
  • Prior job related experience with Applied Behavior Analysis working with children with autism or other developmentally delaying disorders preferred. Applicant needs to be willing to advance their training. The elementary Behavior Intervention Specialist provides leadership and direction at the school level, working to implement, coordinate and evaluate a comprehensive behavior support program. At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred. Citizenship, residency or work visa required. Background Check Required.
