Job summary

Building Connections Behavioral Health, INC. is seeking a Behavior Interventionist to provide 1:1 ABA therapy with children and teens in homes, schools, and community settings.

You will teach communication, social, play, and self-help skills while implementing behavior support plans and tracking progress. The role requires a high school diploma, with preferred Bachelor’s in a related field and experience with autism; RBT certification is encouraged within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to obtain RBT certification within 90 days.
• Preferred: Bachelor's in a related field.
• Experience with children on the autism spectrum preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Immunizations including MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Hep B, and TB clearance within 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy at home, in schools, or in the community.
• Teach communication, social, play, and self-help skills.
• Implement behavior support plans and track client progress.
• Collaborate with families and provide parent education.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment.
