Job summary

Intercare Therapy is hiring Behavior Technicians / ABA Behavior Interventionists in Lakewood, CA for in-home and clinic-based settings. The role involves working 1:1 with children using ABA methods, helping develop communication and daily living skills, and traveling to client locations.

Training is provided and no prior ABA experience is required. We offer paid training, flexible part-time schedules, and a supportive team with supervision, mileage reimbursement, and education reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• At least one completed college course or currently enrolled in college.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree are acceptable qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children in home and clinic settings using ABA (training provided).
• Help children build communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Travel to client homes and local community locations to provide services.
• Collaborate with families and supervisors to support progress.
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for each child.

Pay & Schedule

• $19.25 to $23.00 per hour
• Part-time role
• Enjoy a flexible schedule with opportunities to work mornings, afternoons, and early evenings

Basic Requirements

High School Diploma + one of the following:

• At least one completed college course
• Currently enrolled in college
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, registration & insurance
• Comfortable with local travel to nearby client locations (20 to 40mi radius)
• Passion for working with children (experience preferred)
• Bilingual skills are a plus
• Physical requirements: Active role including standing, kneeling, running, and lifting up to 50 lbs. while engaging with children
