Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a passionate Behavior Interventionist to work one-on-one with clients in home and community settings, guided by BCBAs. You’ll help children and adults develop communication, social, and daily living skills through structured sessions and data-driven progress tracking.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or related field preferred.
• At least one year of experience as a Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Behavioral Interventionist, Paraprofessional, or similar role is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support.
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.
• Support positive behavior development.
• Record session data and client progress.
• Create engaging and structured learning environments.

Certified ( RBT / BCAT / ABAT ) Pay Rate

Required:

• Behavior Technician
• ABA Therapist
• Behavioral Interventionist

• Child Development Professional
• Camp Counselor
• Similar child‑focused role

Additional Details

• Services are provided in clients' homes and community settings
• Travel between client locations may be required
• Mileage reimbursement available when eligible
