Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field preferred.
• Intervention Specialist license preferred.
• Minimum of three years working with at-risk or behaviorally challenged students.
• Proven ability to build trust with students, families and colleagues.
• Ability to pass background checks and maintain professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Provide support addressing conduct, discipline or attendance for at-risk students.
• Develop individualized behavior tracking and intervention programs.
• Participate on IEP Teams and collaborate with staff and families.
• Work with staff on crisis intervention and behavior modification strategies.
• Maintain records consistent with school policies and participate in school events as needed.
