Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health seeks a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for the Pocono Center, an Independent Contractor role providing behavioral intervention support to children and adolescents in home, school or community settings within NEPA.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, helping develop age-appropriate skills, and documenting progress; requires a HS diploma or GED and preferred human service experience. Competitive pay with sign-on bonus options.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Human service experience working with children, adolescents, or adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct services and support in the child’s home, school or community setting.
• Implements the interventions outlined in the treatment plan.
• Assists the child in developing age-appropriate behaviors and coping skills.
• Offers support and transfers appropriate interventions to the child or caregiver.
• Complete necessary data tracking.
• Attends weekly supervision.
