Job summary

Sheppard Pratt in Severna Park, MD, is recruiting for a Behavior Support Assistant in a 12-month, in-person position primarily at Severna Park High School with frequent coverage at nearby Anne Arundel County locations.

You will work under a licensed behavior analyst to implement behavior intervention plans, collect data, and support students with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges.

Qualifications

• Requires a related bachelor's degree with 1 year of related experience.
• Alternative: Associate degree with 2 years of related experience.
• Or high school diploma or GED with 4 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing individualized intervention plans (BIPs).
• Collect and accurately record data on client behavior during sessions.
• Assist in conducting FBAs and ongoing assessments to monitor progress.
• Provide training and support to caregivers and staff on behavior management techniques.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.
