Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Behavior Health Technician in Philadelphia to provide one-on-one support to children and adolescents in home, school, and community settings. You will help build communication, social, and emotional skills while following treatment plans set by clinical supervisors.

The role requires relocation flexibility within service locations, strong communication, teamwork, and reliability. A valid high school diploma is required, with higher degrees viewed favorably.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with children or adolescents in childcare, education, coaching, mentoring, camps, daycare, behavioral health, or youth-focused settings preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one support to children and adolescents in home, school, daycare, and community settings.
  • Help children build communication, social, emotional regulation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Support positive behavior change using strategies taught through ABA training program.
  • Follow individualized treatment plans created by clinical supervisors.
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, and treatment team to support client success.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with clients and their support systems.
  • Collect and document session data and progress notes accurately and promptly.
  • Participate in ongoing training, supervision and team meetings.
  • Travel between client locations throughout the community.

About the Role:

As a Behavior Health Technician, you'll work one-on-one with children and adolescents in community settings. You'll help build communication, social, emotional, and behavioral skills while making a lasting impact on the lives of youth and their families.

Schedule: Full-Time

Program: Intensive Behavioral Health Services

Compensation: Starting at $18+/hour (based on experience and credentials)

What You'll Do

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with children or adolescents in any capacity, including:
    • Childcare, Daycare, Teaching or educational settings, coaching or sports programs, summer camps, youth programs, Behavioral health or human services, mentoring or volunteer work with youth
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently while remaining a part of a team
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between service locations
  • Commitment to helping children and families achieve their goals
Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus, but not required
