Job summary

Arc Broward is seeking a Behavior Companion (Davie, FL) to support adults with developmental disabilities. You will work one-to-one with a participant, implement plans, monitor progress and collect data under the guidance of a Behavior Analyst.

The role offers paid training, professional development, and a retirement plan with employer matching, fostering growth and stability within a mission-driven nonprofit environment in Florida.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and some college coursework are required or preferred.
• ABA 20 hour certification is preferred and must be obtained within 3 months of employment.
• Must complete Professional Crisis Management Training (provided).

Responsibilities

• Provides a stimulating, safe and healthy one-to-one companion for a participant.
• Implements treatment plans as prescribed by Behavior Analyst.
• Monitors program implementation and provides feedback on implementation.
• Collects data and monitors data collection for accuracy.
• Partners with the behavior analyst and provides feedback on client performance.
