Job description

This position is located at Southeast Missouri Residential Services, 2351 Kanell Blvd., Poplar Bluff, Mo 63901. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with Saturday/Sunday/Holidays off. You may work non-traditional schedule to allow for 24-hour care.

What you’ll do:

This is a professional level position accountable for preparing and administering behavior support plans for the residential crisis program, to enhance adaptive behaviors and diminish challenging behaviors resulting in restrictive interventions or placements for individuals with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities Will Include
  • Designs and implements behavior support plans for individuals enrolled in crisis program.
  • Observes consumer behavior and completes initial behavioral assessments
  • Develops and implements training program for staff in the implementation of behavior support plans
  • Participates in joint behavioral support plan team meetings and provides professional feedback on behavioral support plans submitted by collogues.
  • Participates in consumer crisis team meetings.
  • Provides behavioral support training and assistance to external stakeholders involved in the transition of crisis consumer to community residential settings.
All you need for success as a Lead Behavior Analyst:
  • Possession of a current professional license to practice as a Behavior Analyst in Missouri.
  • Board Certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BCBA).
  • Strong observation skills.
  • Demonstrate professional collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
