Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support K-12 students with intensive behavioral needs in in-district classrooms and standalone schools.

You will work one-on-one, implement behavior plans, collect data, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to help students reach IEP goals, with a starting rate of USD 20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience implementing behavioral interventions in an educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one on one with an assigned student to meet IEP goals.
• Develop and modify behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans; record data on behaviors and progress.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and crisis management as needed.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment and social/behavioral skills.
• Supervise students during activities and transitions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure plan consistency.
• Provide personal care support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
