Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, provides education services for K-12 students needing additional supports in in-district classrooms and standalone schools.

SESI partners with over 600 districts and serves more than 7,000 students nationwide. The role involves working with diverse students, delivering small-group instruction, and supporting teachers with behavioral and academic strategies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying developmental, cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Lead small group instruction and implement SESI’s academic rotational model.
• Partner with the teacher to provide customized behavior and academic support and conduct assessments.
• Reinforce learning by assigning tasks, using data to determine materials, and providing one-on-one tutorials.
• Assist with large group activities, grading, and monitoring student progress.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies; implement de-escalation techniques and crisis management as needed.
