Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Lead small group instruction and implement the SESI rotational model.
• Partner with the teacher to provide behavioral and academic support and conduct assessments.
• Reinforce learning, assign tasks, and use data to tailor materials.
• Assist with large group activities, grading, and accommodations as needed.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies and manage crises if necessary.
• Support daily plans and track student growth toward goals.
• Supervise students and coordinate with other staff to address needs.
