Job summary

Think Together is seeking a Part-Time Before School Program Leader to supervise and mentor a group of students in in-person settings across California school sites. The role focuses on safety, structured activity, and positive behavior support within a nurturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, English proficiency, and some experience working with groups of 10+ students. Bilingual Spanish is preferred and Live Scan clearance is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• District-specific 48 sem/60 quarter units and/or pass a pre-employment test.
• Ability to speak and write Standard English in a public-school setting.
• Must pass Live Scan (fingerprinting).
• Provide negative TB Test dated within the last 3 years.
• At least six months experience teaching groups of 10+ students in classroom/afterschool/recreation.
• Advanced Math and English skills (K–8).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bi-literate in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of 20–25 students in an in-person setting with behavior and safety standards.
• Create an engaging environment that fosters belonging for kids.
• Support students in making positive behavior choices and discipline when needed.
• Identify student needs and communicate with Site Program Manager, teachers, admins and parents as appropriate.
• Participate in staff development.
• Provide homework assistance, academic enrichment and physical activity using provided curriculum.
