Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Head Teacher for the Before School Program at Stafford Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year.

The role offers a $20.00 per hour rate with part-time, non-exempt status and follows the school calendar. Responsibilities include supervising activities, promoting a safe and engaging environment, and coordinating with families and school policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development with 360 hours of supervised experience.
• CDA Credential with 1,080 hours of supervised experience in a licensed childcare center serving preschoolers.
• Minimum of 12 credits in Early Childhood Education or Child Development with 1,080 hours of supervised experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and group activities) and homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines and Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies and host school policies.
• Support program operations, including attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
