Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne is hiring a Before School Site Assistant at Glenwood Park Elementary in Fort Wayne, IN. This part-time role supports the YMCA Child Care Services program with early-morning supervision and activities for school-age children.

Responsibilities include engaging participants, delivering lessons, and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment while contributing to a flexible, community-focused organization.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and currently in school.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Experience supervising multiple children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide childcare support Monday through Friday for the Before and After School YMCA Program.
• Deliver age-appropriate activities to promote a safe, fun, and nurturing learning environment.
• Assist in implementing lessons and lead safe activities for program participants.
