Job summary

Right At School is hiring Educators to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and provide peace of mind to families. On-site before and after school shifts run 6:00am-9:00am and 2:30pm-6pm, with hourly pay ranging from $20 to $22 depending on education and experience.

Ideal candidates bring outstanding customer service, teamwork, and a genuine interest in guiding children under 13. You must be 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to lift 25 lbs; Live Scan and

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• At least 6 months of experience working with children under 13 in a group setting (preferred).
• Must be 18 years or older with a Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 25lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Ability to meet state-specific requirements: LIVE Scan fingerprint, FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter training, Health Certificate with Negative TB Test (from a physician).

• Deliver dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social development.
• Model positive guidance and maintain safety and well-being of all children.

Educator: $20 to $22 per hour (based on education, experience)

On site Schedule: *ON CALL* Before and Afterschool 6:00am-9:00am & 2:30pm-6pm (Hours may vary per site)

You’ll drive the mission by:

• Organize program materials for lessons and activities, as well as document attendance, incidents and other observation
• Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building that expands school day learning in a meaningful way
• Using your coursework training and our in-person training, model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well-being and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play
• Excellent communication skills with varied audience including children, parents, staff and school personnel
• Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety and well-being and attention of all children
• Meets regularly with the Program Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability
