Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is seeking a Site Director for Simonsdale Elementary School in Virginia.

Lead the before/after school program, manage daily operations, staffing, and licensing compliance while ensuring child safety and a high-quality student and family experience. You'll build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership, guide curriculum implementation, mentor your site team, and represent AlphaBEST at events.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older and meet one of the listed education/experience options.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Demonstrated team leadership and supervision experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a classroom with up to 25 pounds lifting.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation.
• Oversee curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations.
• Maintain licensing compliance and readiness for inspections.
• Supervise and mentor site team, providing coaching and training.
• Represent AlphaBEST professionally at school and community events.
• Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success.

Job description

Location(s): Simonsdale Elementary School

Pay: $20.00

Hours: Monday through Friday AM shift 6am-9am PM shift 3:30pm-6pm

Requirements

MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE and shall meet one of the following below

• A graduate degree in a child related field such as elementary education, nursing, or recreation form a college or university and six months of programming experience
• An endorsement or bachelors degree in a child related field such as elementary education, nursing or recreation form a college or university an done year of programming experience
• 48 semester hours of college credit in a child related subject or CDA or 72 quarter hours of college credit from a college or university of which 12 semester or 18 quarter hours are in a child related subject and one year of programming experience
• Tow years of programming experience with one year in a staff supervisory capacity and at least one year of the following education backgrounds: A one year early childhood certificate from a college or university that consists of at least 30 semester hours
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision preferred
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
