Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc seeks an enthusiastic Site Director to lead a before and after school program at Simonsdale Elementary School. You will supervise staff, manage daily operations, ensure licensed practices, and build strong relationships with families and school partners.

Demonstrated leadership, strong safety focus, and ability to run a high-energy program are essential. This role offers full responsibility for program quality, staffing, and compliance within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in a child-related field such as elementary education, nursing, or recreation from a college or university with six months of programming experience.
• Endorsement or Bachelor's degree in a child-related field such as elementary education, nursing, or recreation from a college or university with one year of programming experience.
• 48 semester hours of college credit in a child-related subject or CDA or 72 quarter hours with 12 semester or 18 quarter hours in a child-related subject and one year of programming experience.
• Two years of programming experience with one year in a staff supervisory capacity and at least one year of related education background including a 30 semester hour early childhood certificate.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation.
• Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations.
• Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards.
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Maintain licensing compliance and readiness for inspections.
• Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements.
• Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and ensuring training.
• Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events.
• Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success.

Location(s):Simonsdale Elementary School

Pay: $20.00

Hours: Monday through Friday AM shift 6am-9am PM shift 3:30pm-6pm

Requirements:

• A graduate degree in a child related field such as elementary education, nursing, or recreation form a college or university and six months of programming experience
• An endorsement or bachelors degree in a child related field such as elementary education, nursing or recreation form a college or university an done year of programming experience
• 48 semester hours of college credit in a child related subject or CDA or 72 quarter hours of college credit from a college or university of which 12 semester or 18 quarter hours are in a child related subject and one year of programming experience
• Tow years of programming experience with one year in a staff supervisory capacity and at least one year of the following education backgrounds: A one year early childhood certificate from a college or university that consists of at least 30 semester hours
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision preferred
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
