AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is seeking an Early Learning Professional to join Meadowbrook Elementary School in Bowie, MD as a Group Leader Assistant.

The role supports before and after school programs designed to engage children in learning beyond the school day. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities across languages, STEAM, fitness, and arts, prioritizing safety, maintaining a clean space, and building strong relationships with children, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).
• 3-6 months childcare experience in a licensed setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts) while encouraging positive peer interactions.
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.

Hours: AM Shift 6:30am-9:30am PM shift 3:30pm-6pm
