AlphaBEST Education is seeking a Group Leader Assistant at Meadowbrook Elementary School in Bowie, MD. You will help shape before- and after-school moments, supporting daily curriculum activities across World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts while fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for children.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds in a classroom setting.
• 3–6 months childcare experience in a licensed setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts) while encouraging positive peer interactions.
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.
