Job summary

AlphaBEST Education is seeking a Group Leader Assistant at Waldon Woods Elementary School in Clinton, MD to support before- and after-school programs. You will help deliver engaging activities and maintain a safe, structured environment for children.

The role emphasizes child safety, reliability, and teamwork as you assist with daily curriculum activities across World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts, while building strong relationships with children, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).
• 3-6 months childcare experience in a licensed setting.

• Keep the space clean and organized

Hours: Monday through Friday am shift 7am-9am pm shift 2:30pm-6pm
